As a Care Assistant at Barnby Court, you will provide person centered care and support our residents to maintain their independence, this will include supporting with personal care, at mealtimes and during activities as well as offering emotional support.
Previous experience caring for the elderly would be advantageous, ideally you would have a minimum NVQ 2 in Health & Social Care and Care Certificate or be willing to work towards. However, full training will be given.

Barnby Court is a home from home privately owned Care Home with 25 beds. Barnby Court is rated 'good' in all areas inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and is band 4 Nottinghamshire County Council rated. The home holds a 5* food hygiene rating. In addition, Barnby Court has been awarded a score of 9.7 on carehome.co.uk, the leading UK care home review website.
We have two posts available 22-hour permanent contract and a 16.5-hour permanent contract (this will usually be one 12-hour shift one week and then two the following). The shift times will be predominately 0800-2000.
We do not provide sponsorship for overseas workers.
Shifts are pre-planned on a rota app and additional shifts can be picked up as and when you wish through the app. Additional hours which may be picked up if you choose would be either 0800-1400, 0800-2000, 1400-2000, 1800-2300 or 2000-0800. Shifts will include include weekends and bank holidays.
We pay overtime rates for all bank holidays and provide a workplace pension.
