We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and organized Part-Time Hotel Receptionist to join our team for the afternoon/evening shift. This role is perfect for someone looking for a consistent, part-time schedule that offers an excellent work-life balance with guaranteed bi-weekly weekends off.
The Role (What You’ll Be Doing)
As our Afternoon Receptionist, you will be the main point of contact for guests during our peak check-in hours. Your standard shift will run from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, ensuring a smooth transition into the evening.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Welcome: Enthusiastically check guests in and out, issue room codes, and provide essential hotel and local information.
- Customer Service: Handle guest inquiries, requests, and occasional complaints in a professional, empathetic manner.
- Admin & Payments: Process reservations, take payments, answer incoming phone calls, and respond to emails.
- Team Flexibility: Complete a smooth handover at 9:00 PM, and step in to provide holiday cover for other team members when needed.
What We’re Looking For
- The Personality: A naturally warm, confident communicator with a positive "can-do" attitude.
- The Experience: Previous experience in a customer-facing role (hospitality, retail, or reception) is highly desirable, but a passion for great service is essential.
- The Skills: Good IT skills (training on our hotel booking system will be fully provided).
- Flexibility: While your hours are structured, flexibility to pick up extra shifts for holiday cover is a key requirement for this role.
