Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar/Waiting Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a lively restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. Previous bar work experience is a necessity.
Duties
- Taking orders from guests accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service
- Serving food and beverages with professionalism and courtesy
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of tables, bar area, and service stations
- Upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Handling payments accurately both electronically and cash based.
- Providing excellent guest service by addressing questions and special requests
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Managing multiple tables or bar stations during busy periods with effective time management
- Supporting team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or related roles is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy hours
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Basic maths skills for handling payments and bills accurately
- Familiarity with serving procedures, food safety regulations preferred
- Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required

Pay: £10.51-£12.83 per hour
