Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various businesses. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high standards of cleanliness. Duties
- Monday and Tuesday 2 hours each day Cleaning of 3 offices, 2 canteens, 2 drying rooms and 1 toilet
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to ensure they meet health and safety standards
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure it is stored correctly after use
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times during cleaning activities
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the supervisor
- Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment efficiently and safely
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled hours
- Good organisational skills and reliability
- Physical fitness to perform manual cleaning duties, including lifting and moving cleaning equipment or waste bins
- A positive attitude and professional approach towards clients and colleagues
