We're looking for an experienced and Welsh speaking accountant to take ownership of a varied client portfolio and play a key role in the continued growth of the practice. For the right person, this role offers a long-term career path as the practice grows.
You'll inherit an established portfolio of owner managed businesses across a wide range of sectors, acting as their main point of contact and trusted advisor. You'll manage your clients from start to finish.
Day to day, that means:
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for limited companies (FRS 102 Section 1A), sole traders, and partnerships

Preparing corporation tax returns and self-assessment tax returns

Handling VAT returns and advising on VAT treatment

Managing your files from start to finish, producing work that is ready for partner review with minimal rework

Building strong client relationships, managing expectations, and communicating proactivel

Mentoring and supporting the development of junior team members

Staying current with regulatory changes, including MTD for Income Tax

Contributing to the practice's growth by identifying opportunities to add value for clients
This is a senior, hands-on role. You'll have autonomy over your workload and direct client relationships, and we'll look to you to lead by example on quality and client service.
