Domestic Cleaner — Independent Veterinary Practice (Evenings, Mon–Fri)
Location: Wrights Vets, Birtley, DH3 2QH
Hours: 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm, Monday to Friday (plus 2.5 hours flexible per week for deep cleaning) Salary: £13.40 per hour Contract: Permanent, no weekend work

Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitising surfaces.
- Ensure all restrooms are clean and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Handle waste disposal and recycling in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance issues as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests or clients, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of cleanliness.
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial experience is preferred, particularly in commercial cleaning or hospital environments.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients and guests.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks as needed.
- A willingness to learn new skills related to cleaning techniques and equipment usage.
