Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Factory Operative to join our dynamic team. Here at J L Priestley we’re experts in dried vegetables and have been for the last 50 years. We source the finest ingredients from around the world and bring them all the way back to Lincolnshire where we process them and sell on to our customers.
We have 2 sites and are now needing to recruit an extra factory operative for our factory in Heckington to support our journey and continued growth.

We offer good rates of pay, weekly overtime and a monthly bonus in return for your enthusiasm and commitment.
Duties
- Decanting raw material from bags or boxes into loading bins.
- Weighing raw material and recording details on paperwork.
- Compacting of all packaging
- Cleaning of bins using pressure washer
- Operating of basic machinery, full training provided
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions well.
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently when required.
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or factory setting is advantageous but not essential.
