Private Client Solicitor - Probate / Wills / Estate Planning
Location: East Belfast (with flexibility to support Holywood office)
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 FTE (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
The Role
We are seeking a motivated and personable Private Client Solicitor to join our growing team, specialising in Probate, Wills, and Estate Planning. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to develop their career within a supportive and well-established firm in the Northern Ireland market.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality legal services to clients while contributing positively to the wider team.
Key Responsibilities

Managing a varied caseload of private client matters, including:
- Wills and estate planning

Probate and estate administration

Powers of attorney

Providing clear, practical, and empathetic advice to clients

Building and maintaining strong client relationships

Supporting the ongoing development of the private client department

Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm

Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and professional standards
Experience & Skills Required

Ideally 2-5 years PQE within private client work in Northern Ireland

Strong technical knowledge of probate, wills, and estate planning

Excellent communication and client care skills

Ability to manage caseload independently with attention to detail

Proactive, organised, and team-oriented approach
