An exciting opportunity has arisen within a newly formed HR Team committed to building a supportive, collaborative and development-focused culture, with a clear ambition to raise the profile and impact of HR across the business.
The key elements of the role are:
- Providing transformational generalist HR support and advice to managers
- Managing investigation, disciplinary and grievance cases
- Reviewing HR policies and coaching managers on application
- Delivering coaching and 1-2-1 people management support
- Keeping up to date with employment law and HR best practices
- Supporting internal and external HR audits
- Assisting with payroll consolidation
- Inputting, maintaining and updating personnel / payroll information on the HR system
- Recruitment, interviewing, adverts etc.
- Supporting on transactional HR processes
We think you’ll be great if you have:
- Proven HR generalist experience
- Confident managing employee relations cases and busy caseloads; providing clear practical HR advice
- A strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Excellent communication with clarity, empathy and influence
- Remains calm, professional and solution focused under pressure
- Builds trust with key stake holders
- CIPD Level 5 (or working towards it)
- Experience in manufacturing
