Heathline is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to become an Apprentice HGV Technician. If you're passionate about how vehicles work, eager to get hands-on, and ready to learn from the best, this is an exciting opportunity to learn from experienced technicians, gain a nationally recognised qualification and build a rewarding career maintaining and repairing heavy commercial vehicles.
What You’ll Learn:
As part of our experienced team, you’ll gain real-world skills and hands-on experience, including how to:
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and MOT preparations to DVSA standards
- Carry out routine servicing and maintenance on heavy commercial vehicles
- Use advanced diagnostics tools to identify and fix faults
- Complete digital job cards and inspection reports using tablets and garage software

What We’re Looking For:
You don’t need to be an expert yet — just someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn. We’re looking for candidates who are:
- Genuinely interested in mechanics and vehicle systems
- Hands-on, practical, and not afraid to get stuck in
- Good communicators and strong team players
- Conscious of safety (your own and others)
- In possession of a full UK driving licence (held for at least 1 year)
- Class 2 licence is a bonus, but not essential
