Food Manufacturing Operative
Location: Haverhill
Job Type: Full-time, Temporary to Permanent
Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Food Manufacturing Operative for our client based in Haverhill.
Main Purpose of the Role
To support the production of high-quality food products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring all products are prepared, handled, and packed in line with food safety and hygiene standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assisting in the preparation and production of food items
- Operating basic machinery and production line equipment
- Packing finished products to specification
- Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
- Following strict food hygiene and safety procedures (HACCP)
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
- Working to daily production targets
Additional Responsibilities
- Reporting any faults or issues to supervisors
- Assisting with stock rotation and raw material handling
- Adhering to all company policies and health & safety regulations
- Supporting other areas of the production process when required
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in food manufacturing or production is desirable
- Understanding of food hygiene standards is beneficial
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Flexible approach to work
Working Pattern & Benefits
- Hours: Monday to Friday, (rotating shifts)

- Salary: £12.71 £13.50 per hour (depending on experience)
