We have an exciting opportunity for a HGV workshop manager to join our team at A&F Haulage at our Bolton depot.
The suitable candidate must be experienced in HGV repairs and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organise and allocate job cards to workshop technicians
- Check driver defects and organise repairs
- Ensure PMIs are completed within time scales
- Order parts and ensure incorrect parts / parts that are no longer required are returned to the supplier in a timely manner
- Ensure vehicles are kept in a roadworthy condition and vehicles that are not suitable for the road are VOR
- Maintain the vehicle records and ensure they are compliant
- Responsible for controlling the workshop in order to maintain productivity and efficiency at the highest level
- Responsible for management of the team including time, attendance and performance
