Freelance Adult Care Assessor

Job description
We are looking for experienced freelance assessors to join our team who are competent to deliver diploma only qualifications up to Level 5 within a range of adult care sector settings.
Freelance: Flexitime
Location: Remote

Pay: Pay is competitive and is subject to assessors’ skills, qualities, experience, and speed.
Essential Criteria:
· Must hold Assessor Award, CAVA or TAQA Level 3, A1, D32/33 or equivalent
· A minimum of 2 years’ current experience assessing health and social care/children & young people diplomas.
· Must be qualified to Level 5
· Demonstrate a commitment to equality and diversity and quality assurance
· Must have a proficient level of ICT skills and understanding of e-portfolios
· Possess excellent communication skills
· Be a team player
· Possess a full clean driving licence with access to transport
· Must be flexible with travel to include workplace observations
Duties include:
· Support learners working towards children and young people qualifications up to Level 5.
· Managing your time effectively and your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews are conducted.
· Organise and maintain online documentation on learners' progress.
· Support, advise and motivate learners.
· Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
· Attend assessor standardisation
· Liaise with the internal verifier on a 1-1 monthly basis
Desirable:
· Hold a relevant internal quality assurance qualification.
· Qualification in Internal Verification with 2 years’ experience
