About the Opportunities
We are looking for adaptable, resilient, and compassionate individuals to fill roles within two distinct environments:
- Option 1: Specialized 3–19 SEND School * An incredible, highly supportive, and immersive environment working across a broad age range.
- Ideal for candidates with experience in severe, complex, or profound learning difficulties (PMLD), Autism (ASD), or non-verbal communication frameworks.
- Exclusive Opportunity: This school is hosting an interactive Debut Day at the end of June. This is a fantastic, fast-tracked route to showcase your skills, meet the leadership team, and lock in a position ahead of the crowd!
- Option 2: Mainstream Primary School (Dedicated SEND Provision)
- Providing targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions within a mainstream primary setting.
- Focusing on scaffolding lesson plans, managing behavioral regulation, and helping vulnerable children thrive alongside their peers.
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience supporting children or young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND/ALN).
- Experience with Autism (ASC), severe speech and language delays (non-verbal), or social, emotional, and mental health challenges (SEMH).
- Training in Team Teach, Trauma-Informed practice, or moving and handling is highly desirable (but not essential).
- An empathetic, patient nature and a genuine drive to make a difference in children's lives.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to process a new one with us immediately).
