Job Purpose:
To help with the preparation and presentation of food, ensure that it complies with the agreed standards regarding quality and hygiene.
Duties:
- Demonstrate a positive working style with an enthusiastic, committed and flexible attitude.
- To work closely with the Kitchen team to maintain health, safety and food hygiene policies in the kitchen.
- To ensure that sufficient stocks of all materials are being kept and stored under the correct conditions.
- Work closely with the Head Chef to ensure the kitchen cleanliness is of the highest standard.
- Ensure deliveries are checked against delivery dockets, signed for and products are immediately dispatched to the appropriate fridges, freezer or dry goods store area.
- Ensure disposal of food and kitchen items to best practice.
