KRD Cleaning Services are looking for a responsible, reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the cleaning industry and some experience supervising or managing a team. Good communication skills, a practical approach to problem-solving and the ability to work well with others are essential.
The successful applicant will be responsible for supervising and working as part of a close-knit team, working alongside the Operations Director and Works Manager to ensure our weekly cleaning schedules and client portfolio are completed to a high standard.
Work environments include office cleaning, builders cleans, final cleans, flat cleaning, stairwell cleaning and residential developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising and working on site with the cleaning team
- Driving to sites across Edinburgh and the Lothians as required
- Carrying out cleaning duties using the correct procedures
- Assisting with the replenishment of cleaning supplies
- Maintaining a well-stocked and organised vehicle
- Ensuring all cleaning equipment is clean, safe and in good working order
- Completing paperwork, including check sheets and site records
- Following all health and safety guidelines for the use of equipment, chemicals and materials
- Supporting the team to maintain high standards across all sites
Full uniform and training will be provided.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 06:45 – 15:30
Saturday work will be required on a rota basis, currently approximately 1 in 3 Saturdays.
This role is based on a minimum 35-hour contract. Applicants can generally expect to work between 35 and 40 hours per week.
Training / Probation
A 12-week on-the-job training and probationary period will be undertaken by successful applicants.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous cleaning experience preferred
- Previous team supervision or management experience preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, organised and able to work as part of a team
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £14.00-£14.60 per hour
