Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare, cook, and present a variety of high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications
- Oversee food safety standards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs effectively
- Develop new recipes and menu items to enhance customer experience
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen at all times
- Ensure all food served meets the organisation’s quality standards
Experience
- Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within hospitality or restaurant sectors
- Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques
- Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards
- Experience in restaurant operations, including serving customers and managing kitchen workflows
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and customer service excellence
