Class 1 HGV Driver Monday to Friday working for a modern, friendly non-food distribution company based in Whittlesey near Peterborough.
Start times are 0400-0500, with typical finish times of around 1400 hrs, 9-10 hrs per day.
Travelling the East and Southern regions of England, 1-2 drops to be expected, no handballing, you will be expected to pull your curtains when on delivery to allow forklift truck drivers access to your loads.
Expected to follow pre-determined routes on some runs, complete daily vehicle defect safety checks every single shift and strap ensure loads have been strapped securely.
Paperwork must be signed at every drop and returned to the traffic office at the end of every shift, and you will be expected to download your card at the end of each and every shift also.
Monday to Friday £18.08 Per Hour (PAYE)
Saturdays £21.16 Per Hour (when offered and accepted)
Drivers need:
- Full UK HGV Driving Licence (6 months minimum Driving Experience)
- Max 6 penalty Points (No IN10, CD, DD, DR or DG penalty points)
- Digi Card
- Drivers CPC
- able to work with minimal interference and supervision
- Immediate starts available
