Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join our vibrant primary school. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the curriculum for Year 1 pupils
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
- Implement effective behaviour management techniques to promote a respectful classroom atmosphere
- Foster a supportive environment that encourages social and emotional development
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop cohesive lesson plans and school activities
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavioural issues
- Organise classroom resources and maintain an organised learning environment
- Support students with special educational needs as required
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in early childhood education or primary teaching (e.g., QTS or equivalent)
- Proven experience in teaching Year 1 or similar early years settings is desirable
- Strong behaviour management skills to create a positive classroom climate
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Passion for early childhood development and education innovation
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team of educators
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Pay: £169.00-£266.00 per day
