Position: HGV 2 Multi-Drop Driver
Location: Birmingham
Hours: Monday to Friday, 45-55 hours per week
Start Times: Between 06:00 - 08:00 AM
Pay Rate: £16.50 - £19.50 per hour
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV 2 Driver to join our team, based in Swadlincote. This is a multi-drop role, delivering palletised products to customers across the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing 5-8 deliveries per shift, ensuring timely and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate an HGV 2 vehicle for multi-drop deliveries.
- Complete 5-8 deliveries per shift of palletised products.
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in excellent condition.
- Minimal handball required – products are unloaded using forklifts or electric pump trucks.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and driving laws.
Requirements
- Valid HGV 2 (Category C) Licence with 1 years driving experience is essential
- Previous multi-drop experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of UK driving regulations.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
