Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Domiciliary Care Workers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. Duties
- Assisting clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Providing medication administration in accordance with care plans
- Preparing nutritious meals and assisting with meal planning as required
- Supporting clients with specialised needs including Alzheimer's, dementia, hospice, and senior care
- Engaging clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
- Assisting with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Driving clients to appointments or social activities when necessary
- Behaviour management to ensure a calm and supportive atmosphere
- Responding promptly to emergencies with appropriate first aid procedures
- Documenting care provided accurately and reporting any concerns or changes in condition
Experience
This role requires a caring attitude, organisational skills, and the ability to work independently whilst maintaining excellent communication with clients and their families. All positions are paid roles that contribute significantly to the wellbeing of those receiving care.
Pay: £12.71-£13.10 per hour
