We are currently recruiting for an experienced Family Law Solicitor to join a highly regarded and award-winning law firm in Nottingham.
This is an exciting opportunity for a ambitious legal professional to join a high-performing Family Law team handling a broad range of complex and high-quality matters, including high-net-worth financial cases, Children Act proceedings, and international family law matters.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the continued growth and development of the department while delivering exceptional client service across a varied caseload.
The Role
You will manage and progress a diverse caseload across all areas of family law, including:
- High-net-worth financial remedy negotiations and proceedings
- Divorce and separation matters
- Children Act proceedings
- Pre- and post-nuptial agreements
- TOLATA disputes
- Injunctive proceedings
- Elements of international family law
- Preventative and advisory family law work
Additional responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with Partners to progress complex matters
- Supporting business development and networking initiatives
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members
- Contributing to the continued growth and profile of the department
- Managing matters efficiently and commercially while maintaining exceptional client care standards
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or equivalent legal qualification
- Ideally 5+ years PQE within Family Law
- Strong technical expertise across all aspects of private family law
- Experience handling high-net-worth financial remedy matters
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Commercially aware with strong business development ability
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities effectively
- Professional, empathetic, and confident handling sensitive client matters
- Strong IT and case management system skills
