We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Support / Bank Cleaner to join our cleaning team.
This role offers flexible bank shifts to support our ongoing cleaning requirements across various commercial and healthcare settings. The successful candidate will play a vital part in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all clients.
Previous experience in domestic and commercial cleaning is highly desirable. This position is ideal for individuals seeking flexible working hours with paid shifts, contributing to a professional and supportive team.
Driving License and access to own car is essential as the role covers sites between Hedon and Withernsea
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties across multiple sites, including homes and offices and commercial premises.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning tasks to the supervisor promptly.
- Adapt to different site requirements and work independently or as part of a team as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in Domestic and commercial cleaning, is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work flexibly across various shifts as required by the organisation’s needs.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality is a must
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment safety procedures is advantageous.
