Overview
We are currently seeking experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 Truck Drivers to join our team. This position is offering consistent work, competitive pay, and varied trailer work including box trailers and curtain side trailers.#
Start Times : 7am-12pm
Requierments : Must be able to do nights out every other shift. £25 per driver, per night paid.
Duties
- Ensure that all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper securing of loads.
- Minor handball involved
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required.
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and safety standards while driving.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driving licence (C or equivalent).
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferable.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items and securing loads.
- Excellent time management skills and reliability in meeting deadlines.
- Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- A commitment to maintaining a high standard of vehicle cleanliness and maintenance.
