North Mundham School is looking for a Teaching Assistant/Midday Meals Supervisor to join our dedicated and experienced staff team.

Job Details
Fixed Term Contract from 1st September to 21st July 2027 (in first instance, may be renewed dependent on funding)
Grade 3 Point 3-4 Full Time Equivalent = £24,796.00 - £25,185.00 depending on experience - per annum pro rata (salary is pro-rata working on 31.67 hours per week)
Working Pattern: The hours are 8.30am - 3.20pm - term time only (includes half hour unpaid lunch)
Closing Date: Friday 10th July at 9am
Interviews: Will be held week commencing 13th July 2026 (time and date to be confirmed)
What You Need to Succeed
North Mundham Primary School has an opportunity for a highly adaptable person with excellent communication and proven support skills to become part of our warm and welcoming school.
We are looking for a special person with a positive approach to behaviour management and willingness to support as part of the team. Experience of working with a therapeutic approach to trauma as well as working with pupils with SEND, would be desirable. The role will primarily be working in Key Stage 1 as part of a friendly and supportive Teaching Assistant team across 3 classes. The role will include some group, individual and in class support. The post will be under the guidance and support of the Senior Leadership Team. You will work closely with the Key Stage 1 team, supporting all areas of the curriculum.
Ideally, candidates should have experience in a school environment, working with children in or Key Stage 1. A qualification at NVQ level 2 or 3 or equivalent would be an advantage. You will need to enjoy working collaboratively and have good communication and organisational skills. We are looking for somebody who is passionate about the post, has a flexible approach to work and is committed to meeting the needs of the pupils in our school.
