We are seeking a skilled CSCS Handyman to join our team, providing essential maintenance and repair services across various construction and renovation projects. Duties
- Carry out carpentry tasks such as framing, fitting, and repairs with precision and attention to detail
- Conduct roofing work including patching, sealing, and installation as required
- Perform construction painting to prepare surfaces and ensure quality finishes
- Undertake plumbing repairs and installations to maintain building functionality
- Execute masonry work including bricklaying, pointing, and concrete repairs
- Operate welding equipment for fabrication and structural repairs
- Handle electrical tasks safely, including wiring and fixture installation (where qualified)
- Utilise hand tools and power tools efficiently for various maintenance activities
- Fabricate custom components or modifications as needed for specific projects
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction or maintenance roles with a strong skill set across multiple trades such as carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, welding, or electrical work
- Competence in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- CSCS card holder is essential; relevant certifications in electrical or plumbing work are advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks in various weather conditions
- A valid driving licence is desirable but not mandatory
