The Cairn Hotel, Harrogate is a 135 bedroomed hotel situated 5 minute’s walk from the town centre, we are also within easy reach to many surrounding areas including York, Leeds and the Dales. The hotel is part of the Strathmore Hotels Group, a family-run group of eight unique hotels offering their own individual character and charm across Scotland and the north of England.
We are recruiting for a Full time Duty manager to join our busy friendly management team. You will report to the Operations Manager.
You will work to the agreed hotel standards in line with the hotel and guest expectations and reflect the requirements made by your department through the duties that you perform. this is a very hands on role and the position will involve daily duty management shifts, checking all health and safety procedures are in place and daily paperwork is completed and the food & beverage operations are running correctly during shift.
Must have at least one years experience in a similar hotel role.
Shifts are mainly Late Shifts (2.45pm start & between 11pm-2am finish) with some 6.45am-3pm-6pm shifts. Sleepovers on some late shifts are required.
