Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Kidderminster Area)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Kidderminster area. This is a long-term position, available for an immediate start.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support pupils’ learning and development across the primary age range. You will play a key role in helping children to engage positively with their education, providing both academic and emotional support as needed.
You will also be expected to:
- Support pupils on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, including those with additional learning needs.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging learning activities.
- Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with staff to ensure all pupils reach their full potential.
About You:
To be considered for this role, applicants must:
- Hold a recognised Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 or equivalent).
- Have relevant experience working within a UK primary school setting.
- Be comfortable supporting children with additional needs, helping them access the curriculum and develop key skills.
- Demonstrate patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
