Sussex FA are seeking to appoint an ambitious and fearless Football Development Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Sussex football. This is a key strategic appointment joining the organisation at an exciting time of growth, transformation and ambition. The role will play a key part in the new organisational restructure, which has streamlined eight departments into two, this role will help drive the next phase of our development.
As a leader within the organisation, the Football Development Manager will work closely with the Club Development Manager to grow and improve participation and player experience. The postholder will directly line-manage the Football Development Officer responsible for Youth and Volunteers, the Coach Development Officer, and the Referee Development Officer.
Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) enhanced check through The FA DBS process. The possession of a criminal record will not necessarily prevent an applicant from obtaining this post, as all cases are judged individually according to the nature of the role and information provided.

The role is full-time, permanent, based at GoCardless Stadium, Culver Road, Lancing. Flexible working arrangements can be considered.
The salary range for the position is £30,000 to £34,000. The successful candidate will be subject to a 3-month probationary period.
