Overview
Bluestar Manufacturing are looking for an industrial paiter to help finish our manufactured stillages & products produced here in Longton.
The applicant will be working with a small team dedicated to delivering quality products supplied to various industries across the UK.
You will be experienced in the use of painting equipment and the mixing of paint materials, also you will be responsible for the service and upkeep of the painting equipment, spray booth and jigs.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply primers, and top coat finish, and other coatings using spray equipment and touch up brushes
- Ensure all work meets specified quality standards and safety regulations
- Inspect finished surfaces for defects and rectify as necessary
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and issues
Skills
- Experience in industrial painting or industrial coating applications is desirable
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail with an organised approach to work tasks
- Good physical fitness to handle manual tasks and work in various environmental conditions
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
