Laundry Operative
Milborne Port (15/20 minute drive from Yeovil)
Temp – Perm Position
SITE TOURS PRIOR TO START
3 shifts available (Overtime required during busy periods)
Monday - Friday 06:30 – 15:00
Monday - Friday 09:30 – 18:00
Monday - Friday 12:00 – 20:30 (shift might change to 13:00-21:30)
£12.94 per hour, Overtime £19.41 after 40 hours
Starting on weekly pay, then monthly once on permanent contract.
Our client is looking for Laundry operatives to work in their popular Linen establishment based in Milborne Port. Since 1975, Our client has offered specialist linen hire and laundry services for hotels, kitchens and restaurants throughout the UK.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Operate machinery, ensuring adherence to safety
- Handle materials effectively within the factory environment, ensuring proper storage and inventory management.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Report any issues that arise during production
- Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
Skills:
- Machine Experience would be an advantage but not essential
- Be able to reliably commute to and from work
- Be able to work under supervision and as part of a team.
- You are expected to meet and exceed set targets to achieve the agreed quality standards, following company guidelines and site rules.
