We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Health Nurse to provide comprehensive healthcare support within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full Health Surveillance Process, supporting and supervising Technicians. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a compassionate professional to contribute to the running and progression of Aardvark Occupational Health.
Position will be hybrid with occasional travel to site.
Duties
- Provide Clinical Leadership, sign off and oversight of Health Surveillance services
- Lead for Technicians, delivering Health Surveillance
- Review and sign off Safety Critical Medicals
- Production of reports and audits
- Support induction and training of Technicians
- Identify training needs of Technicians
- Carry out Technician reviews
- Management referrals
- Fitness for work assessments
- Participate in clinical governance activities
- Support and maintain SEQOHS accreditation
- Maintain accurate health records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement workplace health policies and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Recognised Occupational Health Qualification (Certificate or Diploma in OH or SCPHN (OHN)
- 2 Years proven experience in Occupational Health
- Strong knowledge of medical procedures relevant to workplace health
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Compassionate approach with strong communication skills to interact professionally with employees at all levels
