Kickstart your career in tech! Join our team as an Apprentice IT Support Technician and gain hands-on experience, supporting customers and learning how to troubleshoot real-world issues while building expert knowledge of our products.
What you'll do at work
You’ll get hands-on with cutting-edge ICT equipment, supporting customers pre and post-sale, troubleshooting real hardware issues through our helpdesk, and working with repair partners to resolve faults. You’ll also play a key role in stock management and shipping, gaining valuable experience across support, products, and logistics
Skills Required
- Strong communication skills with confidence in written, verbal, and listening abilities
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small, collaborative team
- A solid understanding of IT hardware, systems, and desktop applications (Word, Excel, Email)
- Genuine interest in computer hardware (desktop and mobile) and emerging technologies
- Confident engaging with customers via phone, email, and video conferencing
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
- Ability to multitask and prioritise across different projects
- Curious mindset with a willingness to learn, adapt, and develop new ICT skills
- Any previous ICT experience is advantageous but not essential

Essential qualifications
Minimum of 4 X GCSEs grades 9-4 (A-C) including English and Mathematics
Training to be provided
Information Communications Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:
The successful candidate will undertake a 22 month, nationally recognised qualification through TDM. This is a work-based learning programme which will require commitment to online training. This includes three consecutive days every three months working towards the apprenticeship along with weekly off the job training and monthly coaching sessions.
You will be required to demonstrate through the standard that you meet all competencies and behaviours, which will lead to the achievement of the qualification.
You will have a designated mentor in the workplace to support your learning and at the end of programme will be assessed via an external assessment body.
This is a Level 3 qualification. Knowledge Areas Include:

- Software and Security
- ICT Administration
