Class 2 HGV Driver - £34K to £36K
The Company
We are looking for a motivated and ideally experienced HGV Driver for a well-respected family-owned builders & plumbers merchant company in Leeds.
Driver Role Responsibility
. The role involves driving the Class 2 HGV vehicles with a HIAB Crane.
· Experience of multi drop deliveries to customers in the surrounding area, providing top quality customer service.
. Ensure all goods are loaded, secured and delivered safely and professionally.
. Ensure the delivery vehicle is roadworthy and daily vehicle walk around checks have been completed and recorded.
· In addition to your driving duties we would expect you to be flexible and assist with yard/warehouse duties should the need arise.
· Saturday (morning) working is a requirement for this role, and you will be expected to work one in three Saturday's (8am till 12 noon) throughout the year.
Qualifications and Skills
· HIAB certification and experience is beneficial, although training will be provided for the right candidate.
· Class 2 licence, digital tachograph card and up to date CPC training is essential.
· For this position, knowledge of the building industry and building products would be a distinct advantage.
