Staff (Sales Support Officer) in Passenger Section, London

Duration: Permanent
Hours: 40 hrs per week (Monday to Friday)
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day excluding one hour unpaid lunch.
Job Description:
- Promote the company’s corporate programme, products and services to travel agents, corporate clients and business partners, while assisting with daily reservations and ticketing enquiries.
- Organise promotional, client and partner events, including evening or weekend attendance when required.
- Familiar with the aviation and travel market, with the ability to keep up to date with market trends, fare movements and competitor activities.
- Manage social media and website content, and carry out other routine sales and administrative duties as assigned.
Essential:
- Ability to generate fresh and creative ideas for marketing campaigns, promotional activities and customer engagement initiatives.
- Previous travel agency, airline or relevant travel industry background experience.
- Team player with the ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with all relevant parties throughout each project.
- Fluent in spoken and written English, with excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to liaise with Head Office, coordinate effectively, complete assigned tasks efficiently, and report progress to supervisors.
Desirable:
- BA Parts 1 and 2
- Mandarin language skills (not essential)
