Job Summary
We are seeking experienced and motivated Highway Maintenance Operative’s to undertake a range of Reactive Works across our business, including but not limited to Small Tarmac Patching, Kerb Repairs, Slabbing works and Ironwork replacements based from our Heathfield Depot in East Sussex.
Key Requirements:
- Positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Experience within a Highways Maintenance or Highway Reinstatement setting
- Prepared to work flexible hours
- Work outside in all conditions
- Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team (typically 2 person teams)
- Ensure safe working practices are always adhered to ensuring that all works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Experience and Training required:
- HGV Cat C driving licence or C1 (7.5t)
- Valid CPC
- CSCS
- NRSWA Units 1-9
- EUSR Cat 1 + Cat 2 (desirable)
- SSSTS (desirable)
- Safety Critical Medical (desirable)
