This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting people, building relationships and helping homeowners achieve the best possible outcome when selling or letting their property.
The Role
As a Property Valuer, you will be responsible for carrying out accurate market appraisals for residential properties, providing expert advice to clients, and converting valuations into instructions. You will play a key role in growing our property portfolio while delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct property valuations for residential sales and lettings.
- Provide accurate market appraisals based on local market knowledge and comparable evidence.
- Build strong relationships with vendors, landlords and prospective clients.
- Advise clients on pricing strategies and current market conditions.
- Convert valuation appointments into instructions wherever possible.
- Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the valuation process.
- Keep up to date with local property market trends and competitor activity.
- Ensure all records and valuation reports are completed accurately and promptly.
- Work closely with the sales and lettings teams to maximise business opportunities.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while representing the company professionally.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Property Valuer, Sales Negotiator or similar estate agency role.
- Strong knowledge of the local property market.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Confident building relationships with clients.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Desirable
- Experience in both residential sales and lettings.
- Proven track record of winning instructions.
- Knowledge of property legislation and industry best practice.
