Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and Creating a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety. Responsibilities
- Prepare and create a range of dishes according to specified recipes and standards
- Assist in meal preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Ensure all food is stored correctly and rotated appropriately to prevent waste
- Support the team in serving food efficiently and courteously to customers
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times, including proper handling of kitchen equipment and ingredients
- Assist with inventory management, including stock checks and replenishment of supplies
Experience
- Prior experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or catering environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Experience with meal preparation and presentation techniques
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and basic culinary skills
