Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team at The Boat Country Inn. This role is essential in supporting our kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness and organization while contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional hospitality to our guests.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staff.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment efficiently.
- Support chefs during busy service periods by ensuring they have the necessary tools and ingredients.
- Help with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and take direction.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and teamwork mentality.
