About the role
This role involves 12‑hour shifts, 6:30am–6:30pm, on a 3‑days‑on, 3‑days‑off rota, based at our Lower Mill Estate site.

What you’ll be doing:
· Manning the Gatehouse and main gate to provide a professional and friendly meet & greet service to guests on arrival. This includes ensuring they are authorised to be on-site and having the confidence to question politely when required.
· Maintaining the communal areas and facilities
· Rectifying where feasible any defects or health and safety concerns, escalating and reporting to Managers when required
· Provide and create a highly visible presence during weekends and high season
· To be the main point of contact for all resident queries as and when required
· Basic security and shift checks including monitoring CCTV, and producing daily shift reports to the Estate Management team
· The Estate Warden should respond to any simple queries raised by Homeowners and guests.
· To ensure that any breaches of the Estate rules and regulations by rental guests are followed up promptly with the rental agent.
· To ensure that all dealings with rental agents, unless escalated to a substantial point are dealt with appropriately and understandingly by the Estate Warden team, balancing the requirements of the Client and Estate with the rules and regulations
· To ensure that processes are followed with Rental agents and any investigations relating to agents' bookings or guests are evidenced appropriately so that action can be taken, but where possible all situations should be dealt with amicably
· To assist with administrative, practical, or any other low-risk associated task that may be requested
· To assist with Homeowner events taking place on-site during your working day and to provide positive assistance with logistical and operational planning
We’d love you to have:
· Health & Safety – Knowledge of Safe practices of work
· Emergency First Aid at Work
· Knowledge of basic Microsoft packages including Outlook and Word. Able to pick up new software packages as required.
· Driving license
· Must be able to swim and willing to become a responder
· Experience in a holiday operation (Desirable)
