Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm (Weekend work available)
We are currently recruiting an experienced Banksman for a large commercial roofing project in Somerset starting on 1st September 2026.
This is a long-term opportunity offering consistent work on a well-managed site, with the project expected to run for approximately 4–5 months through the autumn and winter period.
Duties
- Directing and marshalling delivery vehicles on site
- Managing the safe movement of plant and site traffic
- Coordinating deliveries and vehicle access
- Ensuring pedestrian and vehicle safety at all times
- Maintaining site safety procedures and traffic management controls
- Communicating with drivers, site management and operatives
Requirements
- CPCS Plant & Vehicle Marshal or NPORS Vehicle Marshal
- Previous experience working as a Banksman / Traffic Marshal
- Valid CSCS Card
- Asbestos Awareness
- Own PPE
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and safety-conscious approach
