Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling components and products efficiently and accurately, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained. Responsibilities
- Assemble products and components using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment according to technical specifications and work instructions
- Inspect assembled parts for defects or inconsistencies, ensuring compliance with quality standards
- Follow safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe working environment
- Maintain organisation of workstations and ensure tools are properly stored after use
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
- Report any equipment malfunctions or quality issues to supervisors promptly
- Assist in the continuous improvement of assembly processes through feedback and suggestions
Experience
- Prior experience in assembly work, preferably within a warehouse or manufacturing setting
- Mechanical knowledge is highly desirable, including familiarity with hand tools and power tools
- Experience with assembly procedures, reading technical drawings, or schematics is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated attention to detail and organisational skills
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
