DM Recruitment are currently searching for Class 1 Tanker Drivers in Four Crosses.
Pay; £16.42ph
Days; Varying Monday to Sunday
Shifts; 4am or 4pm starts - Days and Nights *Nights paid at higher rate
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect raw milk from farms and deliver to processing sites as scheduled
- Operate Class 1 milk tanker vehicles safely and responsibly
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly
- Ensure tanker cleanliness and adherence to food-grade hygiene standards
- Complete all required paperwork and electronic logs accurately
- Follow company procedures, health & safety, and biosecurity protocols
- Maintain professional communication with farmers, site staff, and transport planners
- Comply with driver hours, tachograph, and road transport legislation
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
- Driver CPC qualification
- Digital tachograph card
- Previous tanker or milk collection experience (preferred, not essential)
- Good understanding of road safety and compliance requirements
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including early starts, nights, and weekends
