TF Jones Property Services is looking for experienced Fire Stoppers to join our directly employed team delivering passive fire protection works across the North-West of England.
This is a permanent PAYE position offering long-term, secure employment with a well-established contractor that has been delivering fire safety and building compliance solutions for over 50 years.
We work predominantly with housing associations and local authorities, carrying out compliance-critical projects where quality, professionalism and attention to detail matter. With a directly employed workforce of over 100 engineers, we've built our reputation on doing things properly and delivering work our clients can trust.

The Role
Working as part of an established team, you will carry out passive fire protection works within occupied and unoccupied buildings, primarily within the public sector. Typical works include:
- Penetration sealing to riser cupboards, communal corridors and loft spaces
- Installation of fire batt and mastic systems
- Fire barrier and cavity barrier installations
- Compound sealing to slabs and walls
- Smoke sealing works
- Loft compartmentation works
- Installation of fire breaks within roof spaces
- Working in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company quality standards
- Maintaining a clean and professional working environment
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
We're keen to hear from operatives who take pride in delivering quality workmanship and understand the importance of getting fire safety installations right first time.
Essential:
- Demonstrable experience carrying out fire stopping works
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong understanding of health and safety requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
- NVQ Level 2 Passive Fire Protection
- FIRAS experience
- Experience working within social housing, local authority or occupied environments
