Our client is looking to recruit a highly organised and proactive Sales Administrator to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced commercial environment, providing essential support to a busy sales function.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day administration of the sales process, working closely with internal departments and customers to deliver an efficient and professional service. This is a full time position running Monday- Friday 8am-5pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and process customer quotations, sales orders, contracts and associated documentation.
- Ensure all sales records and paperwork are completed accurately and within agreed timescales.
- Maintain and update the company's CRM system, ensuring customer information, opportunities and sales activity remain accurate and up to date.
- Prepare regular sales reports and performance data to support management decision-making.
- Act as a first point of contact for customer enquiries, providing prompt and professional assistance.
- Assist with onboarding new customers, including account creation and completion of required documentation.
- Support customers throughout the sales journey, liaising with internal teams such as Finance and Operations to resolve queries and ensure a seamless experience.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for contracts, customer records and correspondence.
- Follow internal procedures and company compliance standards at all times.
- Provide general administrative support to the wider sales team as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience within a Sales Administrator, Sales Support or general office administration position.
- A good understanding of sales administration processes, order processing and customer service.
- Experience using CRM systems alongside Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience producing reports and working with sales-related data would be advantageous.
- A qualification in Business Administration or a related discipline would be beneficial, although not essential.
