Job Overview
We are seeking a professional HGV Class 2 Driver specialised in hotbox deliveries to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a flatbed lorry, ensuring timely and secure delivery of goods. Duties
- Safely operate a Class 2 HGV lorry with a hotbox and flatbed configuration, adhering to all relevant road safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load, secure, and deliver goods to specified locations, ensuring the integrity of the cargo throughout transit.
- Navigate routes efficiently, maintaining punctuality and professionalism at all times.
- Assist with the loading and unloading process as required, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including delivery notes and logs.
- Maintain communication with the dispatch team regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transit.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed or hotbox vehicles.
- Delivery driver experience is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with route planning and cargo handling.
- Knowledge of road safety regulations relevant to HGV operations in the UK.
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence (Category C).
- Experience with driving flatbed vehicles and securing loads effectively is preferred.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage time efficiently across multiple deliveries.

Pay: £200.00-£230.00 per day
