Job Description:
Depot Supervisor / Multi drop Delivery Driver
Depot Supervisor role in the Scarborough Depot, Barrys Lane.
The working week for this position is 5 days out of 6. Every Sunday off and one other day of the week. The day off may vary on a week by week basis but is most likely to be a Monday.
The person we take on would need to be proactive and not put off by early morning starts due to delivery vans operating through the night. Start times are usually around 2am.
Responsibilities:-
- supervising and monitoring the work of the one other staff other than yourself operating in this depot.
- implementing and maintaining procedures
- Stock Control, including stocks rotation and ordering product supplies / picking orders
- dealing with email correspondence, including orders and delivery queries
- liaising with staff and suppliers
Previous experience:-
- experience in a Supervisor role
- knowledge of basic computer skills, Microsoft based programmes
