Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced FLT (Fork Lift Truck) Driver to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklift equipment to handle materials, assist with shipping and receiving tasks, and support overall warehouse operations. This role requires a proactive individual with strong transit pallet network knowledge and the ability to manage materials efficiently within a fast-paced environment. The position offers an opportunity to utilise your specialised skills in a dynamic setting, contributing to smooth logistical processes.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Load and unload goods from lorries,
- Assist with warehouse management system updates, ensuring accurate stock levels and documentation.
- Handle materials carefully, ensuring proper stacking, storage, and movement within the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets and deadlines.
Skills
- Proven experience operating forklift trucks in a warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Experience in materials handling, including load & unload procedures.
- Good understanding of shipping & receiving processes.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively using a FLT.
- Basic mathematical skills for inventory counting and documentation accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols and best practices.

Pay: £13.50-£14.28 per hour
