48 hours per week | Wednesday - Sunday | Competitive salary + service charge
Hazéls St Albans is looking for a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. Led by Chef Drew Knight, Hazéls is a unique, independent restaurant built around exceptional food, brilliant music and genuine hospitality.
Our menu celebrates seasonal ingredients, quality suppliers and a love of classical French cookery, with dishes designed for sharing and bringing people together. We’re looking for a Sous Chef who wants to be part of something special; someone creative, organised and driven, who takes pride in every plate while helping to support and inspire the team around them.
The role:
Working closely with Chef Drew Knight on the delivery and development of the menu.
Supporting the day-to-day running of a busy, quality-focused kitchen.
Maintaining high standards across prep, service and presentationHelping lead, motivate and develop the kitchen team.
Bringing ideas, energy and a genuine passion for food.
What we’re looking for:
Previous experience as a Sous Chef or a strong Junior Sous ready for the next step.
A calm, positive approach and strong teamwork skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Passion for seasonal produce and quality cooking.
Someone who enjoys being part of a friendly, ambitious kitchen culture.
