Masstemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Factory Operative – Plastic Machine Operator & Trimmer to join our busy manufacturing client based in Redditch.
Key Responsibilities
Operate plastic moulding and production machinery safely and efficiently.
Trim excess plastic (flash) from finished products using hand tools and trimming equipment.
Carry out visual quality inspections to ensure products meet customer specifications.
Monitor machine performance and report any faults or defects to the Production Supervisor.
Pack, label and prepare finished products ready for dispatch.
Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area in accordance with Health & Safety procedures.
Work to daily production targets while maintaining high quality standards.
Follow all company policies and procedures at all times.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience within a manufacturing or factory environment.
Experience operating plastic moulding machinery is desirable.
Good attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
A reliable and positive attitude with the ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
8:00am – 4:30pm
Pay
£12.71 per hour
